This theoretical system handles Tiles of up to 800 X 800mm. perform intricate tile cutting, applying mortar/glue, and can level the installed tiles to perfection. It was intended to autonomously navigate the construction site and alongside an automatic mortar mixing station, serve as a stand-alone tiling solution.
The concept was commissioned in 2018 by a new startup but sadly its inexperienced board of directors was not suitable for the monumental task laid ahead of them. The COVID plague hammered the last nail in the company's coffin and it was discontinued.
